It's weird, it's like everything besides the top 5 most popular apps are dying down. I tried posting on reddit, twitter, 4chan, sometimes the website gets some views, but nothing too special. Marketing and getting attention is super hard nowadays.
Google search is pretty much useless as well.

Maybe the solution is making a viral post somewhere, just posting for impressions doesn't seem to work very well.
Like my last post on twitter got 1.2k impressions, the last one on reddit 3.5k, but that hardly translates to any new visitors.
The best day for the website happened when I made a post that gained some traction on 4chan, it got like 100+ visits.
But of course, making viral posts isn`t easy.

I'm out of the loop but didn't they resolve the Iran war last week? Wtf happened?

For example on /g/ OPs post cartoon depictions of half naked little girls often with threads that have little to do with tech, thinly veiled coomerposting. They got rid of /cumg/ but the pedoposting is still there.

Now half the board is AI generated images of softcore porn. That's what ultimately made me believe that we really needed a separate /ai/ board. 4chan won't do shit but you did void-san, and I thank you for that.

Also I won't pretend to know about image compression and whether webp is good/bad but more websites have begun using it and 4chan could at least convert them to png or jpeg but instead I have to manually convert them which pisses me off.

I think a good aspect of a smaller website is that things can be moderated more easily, I pretty much read everything that is posted here and it's not like it can slip by

You should probably look into /cumg/ in the desu archives because these child rapists got good at hiding files in JPG and PNG files. I noticed you convert those to webp which might mitigate some of that, maybe.

lol I think most places allow them by default, it's only 4chan that removes them because of that ASCII art culture from 2chan
