I want to create a game, not because I think I wanna make money off it or even have others play it, but as a creative outlet, I want to create my own world.
I have no game developer experience, is AI good enough to help me?

Apparently AI is terrible at gaming stuff because there aren't many open source games for it to train on

AIs can probably be used for RPG MZ and the 3D plugins but depending on how complex of a game you intend it may or may not be enough. Even without full 3D rendering, isometric views can hide the bland-ness of 2D games, and AIs are getting kinda good at understanding 3D space now. The potential is there but it'll be a while before you can get AI to crank out GTA V kind of immersive 3D RGP game.
